# Google Search Console connection checklist for real estate

## Website property

- [ ] Open the property selector and choose **Add property**.
- [ ] Choose **Domain** to cover protocols and subdomains.
- [ ] Enter the root domain only: `example.com`.
- [ ] Add Google’s TXT record at the DNS host.
- [ ] Return to Search Console and select **Verify**.
- [ ] Submit `sitemap.xml`.
- [ ] Inspect one live listing, neighborhood, and educational-resource URL.
- [ ] Save a verification screenshot and dated inspection result.

## Social platform properties

- [ ] Look for Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube options under **Add property**.
- [ ] If missing, record **NOT AVAILABLE YET**; rollout is gradual.
- [ ] Add each owned account separately.
- [ ] Complete the offered platform login or eligible website connection.
- [ ] Select **Go to property** and confirm the exact account.
- [ ] Save a property-list screenshot with private details removed.

## Identity and reporting

- [ ] Link exact owned profiles visibly from the website.
- [ ] Keep visible names and URLs consistent with Organization/Person `sameAs` data.
- [ ] Separate company accounts from Ryan Wanner’s personal accounts.
- [ ] Review Google Search, News, and Discover data in platform properties.
- [ ] Review native reach and engagement inside each social platform.
- [ ] Do not claim that the connection, followers, or `sameAs` directly improves ranking.
